The Mindroot Foundation held a seminar at Teja Foundation Jaipur. Dr D. S. Poonia has discussed mental health issues like Exams anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-compulsive disorder, Psychosis, Suicide, Substance Use Disorder and other mental health issues with students of Teja Foundation.

Since its establishment, The Mindroot Foundation is consistently involved in spreading awareness about mental health. It has been shown in multiple researches that lack of awareness and stigma about mental health is a key factor in treatment gap for mental illnesses.

The Mindroot Seminar on mental health awareness was organised at Teja Foundation Jaipur in which all students and staff were participated. The camp was held in coordination with The Mindroot Foundation.

Study can be stressful. You can easily get depression and anxiety trying to, work, friends, and family while trying to figure out the rest of your life. Most of us bounce back but some of them progress to frequent, intense, and uncontrollable depression which interferes with their daily routines. Depression is a mental health disorder that affects every part of a person’s feelings and perception. It affects behaviors and attitudes and can affect people of any gender or age.

He told that Exam Anxiety is a combination of physiological over-arousal, tension and somatic symptoms, along with worry, dread, fear of failure that occur before or during test situations. Exam anxiety is a physiological condition in which sufferer experience extreme stress, anxiety, and discomfort during and/or before taking a test. This anxiety leads a significant barrier to sufferers in learning and performance.

Teja Foundation is a social and community development organization based at Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is registered under Rajasthan Societies Registration Act,1958. An executive body is constituted to run the affairs of the Foundation. The Foundation derives its name from the legendary folk-deity Tejaji.

He spoke about Exams Anxiety Symptoms, Tips & How to Overcome Test Anxiety.

His remarks and guidelines led to the flow of new energy into these students. Some students also met in-person with Dr D. S. Poonia and had discussed their personal problem in detail.
