Seminar on mental health at Govt. School of village Patan, Kishangarh

Public awareness and education are essential for changing social and cultural perception about mental health. On the long term, it will also help a lot to target stigma associated with mental health issues. We taught the students about what is mental health and why it is essential for everyone. It is necessary to incorporate them into the process of changing cultural beliefs and practices.

Besides this, we tried to make all members of society aware of the negative consequences of the lack of awareness and stigma associated with mental health and substance use disorders. We try to clarify all that these problems about mental health and substance use disorders impact not just the those who are suffering from it but the broader community as well. We work on awareness and stigma, to prevent further harm associated with it as well as want to create the environment in such a way that people can discuss the overall importance of mental health freely without any fear of stigma.
