These include a lack of resources and facilities needed, the reluctance of specialist to work in those areas, unwillingness to accept help for mental health issues because of cultural belief system, stigma attached to them, and poor affordability for health. To address these issues, we need to involve communities by approaching the people, families and community leaders to find out what they understand about mental health problems. Other major includes public education about mental health, skilling health workers in mental health, providing services of a specialist at the community level and use of technology. Public education plays a vital role in creating awareness about mental health. Conducting targeted campaigns that emphasize the importance of mental well-being and provide accurate information can help break down barriers. Increasing public knowledge about common mental health conditions, treatment options, and the benefits of seeking help encourages individuals to prioritize their mental well-being.
